8:47p - Catch up then lots of pictures!
Saturday June 28th- We got up every 45 minutes with a very pukey sick baby. We have never had to really deal with this before and we really worked well as a team. The first time she got sick was in her crib. Andrew undressed her and handed her to me in the shower. I washed her while he stripped her crib down and re made it. We ended up getting a old comforter to put in the middle of our bed and had her lay with us. She woke every 45 minutes or so drive heaving for the rest of the night. I would hold a towel under her face while Andrew rubbed her back. Poor thing I felt horrible for her. When morning came she was her usual self minus not eating a thing most the day.

At 2 we had tickets to go see RENT and wolf trap. Needless to say Andrew and I were very tired and I wasnt feeling so great. The show was awesome though. I loved it. Adora had seen the movie, I made her watch it, but had never seen the actual show. We all had a great time.

Sunday morning June 29th- I was up all night puking sick. Miserable. Felt like death when i got up at 8. We all got showered and loaded in the car to make our way to Arkansas. Being sick and driving all day makes for total misery. I didnt do anymore puking in the car though. That all stopped in the shower before we left. FUN! I felt like hell though.

Monday June 30th- July 8th- We arrived late afternoon on Monday. I was happy that we got there early enough that i was able to go visit with my dad. He looked tired and very cranky but happy to see all of us. We didnt stay long as he didnt want to stay in the lobby but wanted to go back to his room and sleep.

Andrews Dad and Vikki flew out from Cali to join us for vacation. It was wonderful to see them as it always is. They both ended up catching the tummy virus as did Andrew and Adora. Everyone really just ended up being sick for about 12 hours. It was a mean virus but I am glad it didnt last to long.

I did a lot of visiting with my Dad and took the girls up a few times. Mostly I just went up by myself or with my step mom. We did make a few family visits though. He really enjoyed seeng Leia run around being all sassy. We brought him home for a few hours on the 4th which he really seemed to enjoy. He cant stand that he is in this place but is starting to realize its not going to last forever. I went up and had lunch with him one day, food was so gross. He sits at a table with 3 other elderly people. One who steals food but has never really said a word to anyone. I noticed him staring at me and so I said " Well Hi there. How are you?" to which he gave me this nice little old man scowl and then said "What the hell did you do to your hair?" I almost snorked my mystery meat out my nose. I replied "Why I dyed it pink!" he gave a little snort and said "Well thats just CRAZY!" and then continued to eat. So from then on everytime I saw him I had to say HI!

We did alot of swimming, some canoing, a TON of eating, had a huge water fight started by yours truly. Was quite awesome actually. Adora never saw it coming. My dad had bought about 15 years ago one of those pump action super soakers. I pumped it to the fullest ,flew in the cabin and soaked the hell out of adora. Mass water war insued! Good times.

It was amazing trip and I am sad I am still not there. It is simply beautiful and just so peacfull.

This week has been spent being a bit lazy. Thursday I met up with Kelly for Sushi and then we met Jen for drinks. Its always a wonderful evening when Jen is involved. I never get to see her so when i do its always extra nice. Friday we BBQd out and watched the movie Vantage Point. It was good except the ending came to abruptly. Today we went out to Arlington to visit Andrews family. Park,Pizza and water. Fun times.

I am going to get back on track with my photo project. I will jsut minus about 2 weeks and start at what ever number that leavs me at. First I will post some pictures from our trip, no numbers on them because I dont really feel like figuring that all out!

Also i dont care about my mis spelled words and punctuation today!
